AWS Centos 7 "su" access

I have launched a AWS Centos 7 instance, and I logined with username "centos" and private key files.

When I type "su" for root password, it's prompt me to enter the root password. Which is something I don't know.

I tried pass, password, and empty string, nothing works here.
