Accessing EC2 folders from another ec2 using java sdk for aws

I have 2 ec2 instances, one has the java jar files and second one has the node, express framework configured. Jar files on first instance downloads files from s3 and put into same ec2's folder. I want to run those jar files from my EC2 instance which has node js configured from nodejs code using node js child process. Is there any way to do this task. Thanks in advance.
