I have a non-profit client who are in need of doing a regular live streaming (or live broadcast) of their events from their website. I have been searching online how to accomplish it and it seems like we essentially need a media server sending the stream to the website. But what I can't seem to figure out is which media server to use. So far it seems like Wowza or Adobe Media Server and Amazon Web Services might be the way to go. But I wanted a feedback on what is the best kind of set up we need if we are broadcasting at least two live events a week and want to publish the videos on YouTube? We also want to be able to support simultaneous live streams in different languages for the same stream. They have the man power to do live voice-over translation of the videos.
So to summarize the requirements
- Media server and a host that can support at least two live events a week
- Support for broadcasting the same stream for different voice-over
- Added bonus, the streams can be uploaded to YouTube
