AWS Route 53 linking subfolders to subdomains and domains

In AWS there are subfolders of /var/www/ that are linked (sorry I don't know the proper term) to domains and subdomains...

e.g. var/www/folder1 linked to test.domain.com and var/www/folder2 to something.domain.com and var/www/folder2 to domain2.com

In Route 53 it only seems to say the IP address of the server (which is always the same) and the path doesn't seem to be specified.

BTW I think EC2 is using Amazon Linux and PHP Version 5.5.21.

So the subdomains/domains are mainly already set up. Someone else did it but he no longer works here and I need to create some more.
