hosting on EC2 and S3

I am building an amazon affliate store using AzonAuthority and Power builder theme, and am planning 2 more to launch at the same time. Godaddy has the domains, and is hosting the 1st store. Seems a bit slow. The Azon people recommend the following: Change upload limits file_uploads = On post_max_size = 128M upload_max_filesize = 128M memory_limit = 512M max_execution_time 600

I also have the AWS free tier membership. I think I would like to host these 3 site on EC2 instances and S3 buckets for static files....but I haven't a clue, and I find AWS tutorials way over my head. Does anybody know of a tutorial for non-developers? Help!!
