Issue in running sample mapreduce program on Hadoop in AWS using putty

I am trying to run a sample mapreduce program on Hadoop in AWS using putty. But getting following errors

import org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.Reducer;
                                  ^
Dictionary.java:10: error: package org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.lib.input does not exist
import org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.lib.input.FileInputFormat;
                                            ^
Dictionary.java:11: error: package org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.lib.input does not exist
import org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.lib.input.KeyValueTextInputFormat;

and so on
