first post on stackoverflow, I'm trying to get a g2.2xlarge spot instance on EC2 running but so far the status is still "open" - pending evaluation. And it's been like that for 20 minutes. I'm bidding above the current price too. How long should it take for my request to be fulfilled, and what raising my max bid, say 50%, above the current price increase the fulfillment speed? Also would this speed improve as I become a regular user of EC2?
