Unable to start emulator from command line in aws ec2 ubuntu instance

I created a new ec2 ubuntu instance in amazon. I am trying to install android sdk and run android emulator. I was able to create avd but did not able to start the emulator.

When I run following command emulator -avd

I am getting error as ./emulator: No such file or directory

But if I do ./android list targets I get list of target id's

Please let me know if anybody have any idea what could be the reason. Or what are the ways I can run an emulator on aws ec2 ubuntu instance.
