How to connect via command line to a Hadoop cluster in AWS?

We just installed a CDH5 cluster in AWS using Cloudera Director, and everything is working now (I can use HUE and everything).

We went with the standard configuration (Master, Workers and Gateway). But now, I want to use the cluster via command line (to the hdfs) , which are the steps for doing that?
