Elastic Load Balancing in SharePoint 2010

I am trying to load balance two SharePoint Web Front ends using ELB. I have setup the load balancing without issue, but I am asked for credentials When I try to navigate to the URL that I am using to go to the load balancer. The farm doesn't recognise the dns of the load balancer.

Does anyone know anything about this? There isn't much information on the Amazon whitepapers I have on it.
