Amazon Prime account management

I am writing an Android App which requires authentication using Amazon API. As a part of the workflow I need to also validate if has prime membership. If not, allow them to add prime membership.

Is there an amazon supported public API to verify if a valid amazon user has prime membership or not ? If not then allow them to subscribe to prime.
