Using SCP to Copy Files into Server - iOS

In an iOS app, is it possible to use NSTask or any other equivalent to copy files into a server directory? To be more clear, I am running a EC2 micro instance on AWS, which has a folder "test". Is it possible to copy an image, file, etc;, by clicking a button in an iOS application?
