amazon route 53 hosted zone associate with EBL faiil php file_get_contents - 504 error

I just bought a domain from Route 53 and associate hosted zone with my ELB (api.mydomain.com) I created a test page calling PHP: file_get_contents(URL) when URL: hosted zone (api.mydomain.com) - it fails 504 error on my all page EBL DNS name (ebl...amazom.com) - it works 100%

more data: direct call to by hosted zone files works fine (place to url in the browser, return the file) javascript tag with src = hosted zone file, works

HELP?
