AWS vs MBAAS, Which should I use?

I am going to develop a project and I'm trying to decide between using AWS or MBAAS.

I need to know what the advantages and disadvantages of each of these services are, as well as the learning curve so I can decide which one should I use.

I would like to know what has been your experience with these services, whether it was good or bad and why.
