The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D025) in AWS RDS

We are trying to use Transactions between multiple databases in SQL SERVER 2012 , but we endedup with the following error "The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D025)" As I understand from documentation http://ift.tt/1Khck4n that it does not support MSTDC. Do we have any alternate solution? It is very critical and causing showsstopper for few features.
