CNAME for AWS elastic load balancer

I registered a domain and setup 2 CNAME records on my DNS registar.

1)

• Host - www.example.com

• Target - example.com

2)

• Host - example.com
• Target - example-123023551.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com.

Do I have this setup correctly to receive requests from www.example.com and example.com while pointing to ELB?
