Ruby on Rails deployment on EC2

I am trying to deploy my ruby on rails application on ec2 with nginx. i have tried following guides/tutorials that use mina and capistrano but I am not able to get it to work. I am not too sure what's wrong as this is my first time trying this. Can anyone recommend a guide or walk me through on how I can do this?

My requirements: 1. Ruby on Rails application 2. RVM vs RBenv doesn't matter to me 3. Must use Nginx 4. Mina , capistrano, vlad doesn't matter
