Amazon S3 drupal 7 module, bucket configuration issue

I am facing an issue while I am trying to set up the Amazon S3 module. When I am trying to save the defualt bucket name in "/admin/config/media/amazons3", I am getting this error -

"There was a problem using S3. The following exception was thrown: cURL resource: Resource id #95; cURL error: Failed connect to sayan100.s3.amazonaws.com:443; No error (cURL error code 7). See http://ift.tt/1mgwZgQ for an explanation of error codes"

I have created a new bucket in my amazon console, but still getting nothing.
