How do i prepare a pkcs12 .pfx certificate for upload into AWS CloudFront/IAM?

I have a pkcs12 certificate file containing the public key, private key, and entire ca chain.

What are the exact openssl (or otherwise) commands I need to create the public key, private key, and ca chain for use with:

aws iam upload-server-certificate
