I am looking into hosting a website in the next coming months. This website would have a small number of users login and record data. Currently, I am doing the development in ASP.NET MVC 4 (or greater). Additionally, I am planning on using Entity Framework to either construct a database using code first or connecting to an SQL flavored db (hopefully Postgres).
My client has recommended I look into Amazon RDS as well for hosting, however, I found this old SO post from four years ago, here.
In short, is App Harbor still a viable company that I should feel comfortable with hosting a webpage?
Have things with Amazon RDS changed? Do they offer a hosting as well or will I have to worry about setting up my own server?
I was hoping if anyone could validate the accepted answer in the post above as I imagine things have changed since September 2011.
