url can't have host or port if you specify them individually - Bitnami MEAN on EC2

I've been trying to connect to the MongoDB on my Bitnami MEAN instance using the following connection string:

mongo {EC2 DOMAIN} -u {New Username} -p {password}

I receive the following output every time:

url can't have host or port if you specify them individually

I've changed the mongo configuration file to bindIP to 0.0.0.0. I've also added 27017 to the security group in EC2.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
