Godaddy, AWS EC2, Facebook Login

I just uploaded my site to AWS. When I try to login using facebook, it works when I set the site url in the facebook developer page to the aws public dns.

Then I went to godaddy where I registered my domain and changed the A(Host) to point to the elastic ip of aws, the website works but i can't login to facebook. I tried using both my domain and the aws public dns for the facebook site url, neither works.

can anyone help? thanks a lot in advance

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.
